Successfully installed Vista CTP Build 5308 and can connect to wireless access point to get to web. After forever and a day trying to join the W2K3 domain, I evidently guessed the correct sequence to change my computer name and join to the domain... sort of. I received a message telling me I successfully joined the domain which was immediately followed by an error message telling me that the computer account couldn't be created so it joined me under my old computer account and needed to restart... Great! I'll take what I can get... making progress.
Reboot computer and there is absolutely NO way I'm going to connect to the domain... "No logon server available..." or something to that effect.
Can anyone help me to get this thing connected to my domain controller or isn't it possible with this build?

Vista Build 5308 - Can't Login to W2K3 domain
I should also mention that it makes no difference if I'm connecting via a wired or wireless connection.

There could be more than one thing going on here. Most probably the machine is unable to communicate with the DC.
Quick thing to do -
* Login as local machine administrator. * Unjoin the machine from the domain. Reboot. * Login as local machine administrator. * Join the domain and reboot.
If this doesnt work (or shows any error, please report it back)
